Remember The Child Star In Popular Movies Like Batang X and Magic Temple in the 90s?Anna Larrucea? Here She Is Now!

Numerous young stars, child actors, and actresses were discovered and even made names that marked the entertainment industry from the 1990’s. One of those is the popular child actress Anna Larrucea made a name in the industry and has been one of the biggest child actresses back in the 90s.

She’s been part of various shows such as, “Ang TV” a hit gag show from where Goin’ Bulilit was inspired by, and some soap operas and movies. She was also a part of the Star Circle Batch 4 along with Angelica Panganiban and Camille Pratts. Several child actors are also paired with her for the films and soap opera she took part in.


List of the successful films she participated and been one of the main cast are “Batang X” in 1995, “Magic Temple” in 1996, “Ang TV The Movie” in 1996 and “Batang PX” in 1997 where she was paired to Patrick Garcia. She also starred in the movie “Puso ng Pasko” in 1998 with Gloria Romero and Jolina Magdangal and stood as the younger sister of Claudine Barretto in “Mula sa Puso” which was turned into a movie in 1999. In 1995, Anna was paired with Jason Salcedo in the movie “Baby Love” which became her big break and opened more opportunities for her.

But after leaving the limelight, where is Anna Larrucea now and what happened to her that cause her total disappearance from the entertainment industry?

She did come back, however, she’s not lucky enough when she returned. In 2005, she was given a chance to be the main character of the movie “Saving Sally”, an entry film for Metro Manila Film Festival 2016, but, apparently the production of the movie extended up to 2016 which, unfortunately, the producers swapped her for Rhian Ramos when it was reshoot in 2010.

Anna is one of the celebrities who chose to leave the limelight and now she is happily married to her long-time boyfriend Robert “Robbie” Pangilinan and a full-time mom to their son Andrew Ryder.
