The gruesome 50-second video depicts a stream of mustard-coloured pus cascading out of the huge growth as it took 20 minutes to drain the cyst.
When the man walked into the surgery, Syrian doctor Osama Makkia couldn’t believe the size of the bulbous growth.
It had only been spotted four days earlier, but in that short time it had grown at a rapid rate.
The tennis ball-sized lump was so big the patient was forced to go under the knife.
It took the patient three days to recover from the bruising surgery, but Dr Makkia warned the abscess is likely to have grown even bigger if it had not been treated.

Dr Makkia believes the abscess was was caused by poverty in the area and bad oral health.
He said: “This abscess was very large and if it hadn’t have been drained, it would have got bigger and bigger.
“The man felt some pain while I was removing the abscess because of the inflammation around it.
“But unfortunately, abscesses are very common and I have done several similar procedures in the past.
“I predict this won’t be the last.”
The story comes after Dr Pimple Popper, also known as Sandy Lee, popped an enormous cyst from between a man’s eyes.
The patient contacted her because a growing lump between his nose and left eye was running his social life.
Previous botched attempts to remove the cyst caused it to grow back with the area becoming more and more inflamed.
The grisly clip lasts for more than 14 minutes and finishes with a before and after shot of the patient, showing a remarkable difference.
